Bright light
Shine on me
Shine on all the good things
In my darky life
Does your whiteness
Change the color of my skin
Make me another man
And Will let me sweat
And transform my body
To the best it can

Bright light
Shine on my heart
To clearly distinguish well
Between what is good
and what is bad
Only with your help
will I be less sad
Shine on my spirit
To have more clever ideas
An let the dark ones vanish
From my poor irritated head
